ABOUT STARRA J

Originating from Prince George's County Maryland, Starr Jackson is a young creative and entrepreneur who always strives to reach her goals.  Starr graduated from the illustrious North Carolina Central University (NCCU) in 2019 with a Bachelor’s in Business Administration and a  concentration in Management and a minor in Mass Communication.

During the fall semester of 2018, Starr was able to start her own organization called "Nothing But The Arts" (NBTA). Seeing NBTA do exceptionally well, Starr decided to turn her college organization into  501 (3)(c) a non-profit organization and an incorporation during the pandemic in 2020.

 

In 2017, Starr started her own podcast called "The Underground Station” where she goes by the name Starra J.  On the podcast, Starr interviewed numerous creators, hosted events, and released many episodes. She was able to interview a few people by the name of: GQ from Jamla records, Alex Mack, AsatheProdigy, Ryan Chew, Autumn Joi Live, Reggie Couz, SuperStar Ace, Shawn Anthony, Kharmony Fortune and many more. Be on the lookout for the return of her podcast.

While growing up,  Starr always had a passion for the arts and media, and she knew that she wanted to help others chase their dreams despite what creative industry they were in. Starr is now building on her brand “Starra J The Brand '' by creatives with personal development and inspiring them to follow their dreams. 

 

 A statement that Starr always goes by that is now NBTA’s slogan is; “learn, work hard, always be a visionary, and never give up”. She believes that she can do anything she puts her mind to and she is always willing to work hard. This is only the beginning of Starr's success.
